What are good explanations for individual computer parts?

If you were explaining what each individual parts to a computer does to a group of people whom have never owned a computer before, what would you say?

1. Create an analogy to something that they do understand. It wont be 100% correct however if they have never owned a computer it wont matter. For example a car, the glove compartment could be the ram, the trunk could be the HDD and so and so forth.
2. i would explane it in a way that you would a teenager to drive a car, not too much info at first, get them comfortable with computers, then give them a little bit of info at a time.
3. do you know what they are and what thier for? if so break it down into an understandable way for those who dont. ie. the prossesor, you could say its like the brain because it prosseses information... etc.
4. I took a computer tech class thousnads of years ago, haha! and it was explained as parts of a car or your body, as i recall. or you could do it as part of the appliances, in your house, I hope this helps but probably not, good luck!
